Laguna Beach Wedding at Tivoli Terrace from Richelle Dante Photography

This little love fest from Richelle Dante Photography has such a sparkling personality and you can see it shine through each and every detail perfectly chosen by this super stylish Bride and Groom. Take the amazing florals from emporaflora for example. The way the tablescapes at Tivoli Terrace glow in the most gorgeous of colors of pinks and golds and whites - thanks to those beautiful buds placed in the white milk glass vases - is how I know that these lovebirds are the coolest of cool. There's so much more all to be found in the gallery right here.

From the Bride... When planning our wedding, Scott and I envisioned an intimate, romantic affair with close friends and family (and two dogs!). Because most of our guests were coming from out-of-town, we wanted to choose a location that would allow our friends and family to experience and enjoy the laid-back Southern California lifestyle. Tivoli Terrace in Laguna Beach, California, was the perfect backdrop for our wedding. The open-air, French garden setting set the tone for our vintage romance-style wedding, all while being a few blocks away from scenic beaches. We decided to have a daytime wedding with a morning ceremony and lunch reception. Having a daytime wedding allowed our guests to have time to explore the city and all it had to offer, including the summer art festival next door.

When it came to décor, we took inspiration from the venue itself to bring our vintage garden wedding to life. Scott and I collected milk glass pieces from antique stores, Craigslist and thrift stores. Our quest for milk glass became a treasure hunt. It took us on adventures to places we never would have visited otherwise, and we started looking forward to antiquing every weekend! As I scoured Craigslist for milk glass, I came upon wedding décor being sold by recent brides. I liked the idea of saving money by purchasing used wedding items. For example, the burlap and lace table runners, candelabras, chalkboard sign and even my wedding dress were all pre-owned items! These vintage items, combined with romantic touches such as the harpist and violinist, as well as the fun diversion of the prop-filled photo booth, cultivated a relaxed, intimate atmosphere for all of our guests.

I loved the lace on my wedding dress, so I incorporated touches of lace in the décor. The handmade soap favors (which were made by Scott’s aunt) were wrapped in vintage lace ribbon, and the pillars that flanked the aisle during our ceremony were draped in lace fabric. In terms of the color palette, I really loved the design of my invitations, so I used that as inspiration and kept everything fairly neutral with pops of color from the flowers. My florist created amazing floral designs with the candelabras and milk glass that Scott and I had collected. I loved the idea of handmade items, so I turned to Etsy for much of my décor. Our beautiful wedding day was everything I imagined – romantic, personal and easy! It was the perfect start to the rest of our lives together as husband and wife.
