Silverado Wedding at Rancho Las Lomas from Judy and Gavin Photography
This adorable couple planned their wedding in, get this-just four months! Yup, all those personal details you see like the table numbers, flower arrangements, and cupcakes, were all DIYed by the bride with the help of her amazingly generous and not to mention talented family. Judy and Gavin Photography snapped up all the goodness including an exotic animal or two. See even more here.

From the Bride... I wanted the day to emulate the locale. Rancho Las Lomas is a beautiful garden venue with citrus trees scattered throughout the property, stunning architecture, and exotic wildlife with an intimate feel. I used a lemon yellow color accented with silver and navy to give a sophisticated, clean and fresh feel. I also heavily utilized my family and friends with DIY projects because my engagement was a mere four months, leaving little time to plan. My father constructed the placecard holder; family friends, along with my parents, spent 8 hours baking cupcakes; and my maid of honor assembled most of the floral arrangements. It was special to me that my family and friends cared so much to want my wedding to be as special as possible. A lot of my ideas came from online wedding blogs such as SMP and Pinterest. The table numbers had pictures of my fiance (now husband) and I at the age represented by the table numbers. My family got a kick out of seeing my sixth grade school picture, front teeth missing and everything!
Kevin and I met by chance at the apartment complex where we lived, but it was serendipitous that we would fall in love. So much of our lives were similar that it was meant for us to be together. We both have deep respect and love for our families, have a soft spot in our hearts for animals, are driven and ambitious with work and are secretly giggly goofballs. The proposal was actually centered around our fondness for four-legged friends. We were volunteering in Laguna Beach with a dog rescue organization, walking the dogs in an effort to generate interest in them and find them homes. As we strolled down the sand after a day of do-gooding, Kevin pulled me aside, told me how much he loved me and wanted to spend his life with me. Together, we are truly better than we are by ourselves.
