From Jessica’s Photography… I had a vision of a wedding that I would like to shoot, so I got together some of my favorite vendors in town and they helped me create the perfect wedding. We chose a private residence for the location of the shoot; the house was a perfect fit. The house is owned by a talented artist, and every detail of the property was immaculate. The inspiration for the shoot came from navy blue and white stripes with coral and gold accents. We went to every antique store to find the perfect decor, we found some beautiful pink depression glass plates, beautiful milk glass vases and some fun pink depression glass vases. I made the linens to fit my vision; the table runner is complete with various sizes of stripes. This wedding inspiration shoot is perfect for the DIY bride. I made the table from an old door and an old table that we salvaged. The napkins and runner were hand-made. The china was used from a grandmother, along with the dinnerware and glasses. Many of these things can be found in thrift stores or antique stores. We had several set-ups for each place: the first was with the menu and a cute vase with a single flower, the second was a berry tart, and the third was with a scone and berries. I loved how every detail turned out; it was such a fun event to put together.
