Don't miss this fab film by Matrimony Pictures:
From the Bride... Chris and I found Hartley when he and I attended his sister's wedding in 2010. I immediately fell in love with the venue. It was whimsical and charming, and there are so many things that could be done to the venue to make it your own. Chris and I loved the idea of a vintage/rustic style wedding. Light colors, milk glass and mercury brought my ideas to life! We spent lots of time hunting at swap meets, antique malls, craft stores and Etsy. I had a good friend of mine help me along the way with the detail and planning. She had such a creative eye and it was lovely to have her with me! Lots of candles were very important to me as well. They give off so much love and create a romantic and elegant feel at any party.
Chris and I met almost seven years ago this December. My best friend had introduced us and I must say it was more than I ever expected from a blind date. Over the years we became best friends as well as companions. We love to travel and be adventurous but also just enjoy being in each others presence. I was beyond thrilled when Chris proposed in May 2011. I knew wedding planning would be enjoyable and definitely a year to remember. I also looked forward to the DIY part of planning. It gives people a sense of your style and likings! Our wedding day was absolutely perfect and a day we will truly NEVER forget.
