From the Bride… I wanted our wedding to be soft, relaxing and eclectic. I chose a soft color palette of cream, white and soft pink. People were able to grab a drink of Hops and Grain, Altercation or Topo Chico and relax during the ceremony. I am eclectic and wanted my wedding to reflect that, so I chose to go with a vintage theme. I started to collect vintage bottles of garage sales and antique shops a few months before the wedding. Instead of paper napkins, I used a mix match of antique lines from my mom’s collection and mismatched china settings from Loot Vintage. To help make it cheaper, we bought different-sized mason jars for the tables and other flower arrangements. My husband is a musician, so we had music sheets as a part of the table piece, along with the vintage jars of flowers. For favors, we wrapped succulents and cactus in off-white paper and tied a thank you tag to them with raffia string.
The best part of the day was being pronounced husband and wife and the first dance. Ryan Harkrider and the Night Owls band made it a great party. My biggest piece of advice is don’t lose sight that it is just one day. I ran before I got my day started and seemed to really help … along with deep breaths.
