From the Bride... We chose Hawaii because it is my favorite place in the world, and it is also where we got engaged! We were there celebrating my dad's 60th birthday, and Tim proposed in Maui one year before our wedding. We chose the Ritz because the level of service we received from the wedding planners (Akkiko, Michelle, and Tori) there was outstanding. (Not to mention the beauty of the chapel and the grounds!) It was my absolute dream come true! The chapel at The Ritz-Carlton is a wooden, quaint, seaside chapel right on the edge of the property. It is reminiscent of a different era. The ceremony in there was gorgeous, and then we stepped outside to a beautiful, classic Maui day, full of sunshine and breeze.
