We love the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center around these parts and it’s so much fun to see it transformed from season to season. From Lissa Anglin Photography… Travis and Lindsay’s autumn wedding at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower center was perfectly designed with an elegant primary color scheme. The bright florals were anything but ordinary, featuring succulents, artichokes and kale. The bridesmaids wore rich navy dresses and the groomsmen wore navy polka dot ties. String lights and a wildflower backdrop made their ceremony intimate. Instead of a unity candle or sand, the bride and groom actually tied a knot from two pieces of rope given to them by their parents. Taking inspiration from their venue, they offered their guests wildflower seeds and served up Texas-made pies in lieu of a traditional cake.
