From Aubrey Greene Photography… Family was the most important thing to Jillian and Matt when it came to their wedding. They selected a venue that fit their budget and would allow them to invite all their loved ones, but their goal was to make it not feel like you were at an Elks Lodge. Jillian and Matt succeeded perfectly in creating the perfect Cape Cod wedding! All the pictures were taken at the historic Orleans windmill, and the reception took place in the picnic area next to the Eastham Elks Lodge. The reception was filled with beautiful blue glass vases filled with wildflowers and pops of yellow from bowls filled with lemons. A hanging, handwritten chalkboard sign let guests know where they were seated, and the scent of lavender filled the air. Jillian and Matt also went non-traditional with hosting a classic Cape Cod clambake and serving 10 different kinds of pie as dessert, complete with personalized forks and pie birds that Jillian found on Etsy. Jillian called her wedding simple, but I thought it was nothing short of extraordinary.
