This wedding was designed to be every bride's dream! With an echo to vintage elegance, the reception was literally dripping with flowers, white lanterns and soft drapery. From the Bride... Brad’s work friends were actually my school friends. Through a lot of subtle nudging Brad finally worked up the courage to ask me out on a date. He popped the question over lunch at my favorite restaurant in Sydney: Wildfire. He was so nervous, but shouldn’t have been as I said yes straight away.
The ceremony has to be the highlight of the day. It was such an intimate setting in the garden of Terrara House under the trees. I cried and laughed, and it was just perfect. We were blessed with the most amazing weather after months of rain. Our theme was vintage elegance; we wanted to back the elegance and tradition of yesteryear. My mother walked me down the aisle, and I had a photo and lantern of my late father at the ceremony as well. I also had my mum and dads and my grandparents' wedding rings tied onto my bouquet as something old. We also had dinner with our guests the night before the wedding, which was pretty special. I would tell other couples to plan for everything, then leave your worries behind on the day so that you can enjoy it all.
