A whirlwind courtship is so romantic, don’t you think? The thought that a couple just knows, and doesn’t waste any time starting the rest of their lives together gets me every single time. These lovebirds met, fell in love, and within seven months, were engaged – so they decided it was fitting to tie the knot a year after they met, down to the weekend. With help from A Southern Soiree, the bride pulled together a gorgeous soiree that was captured by the talented hands of Love Is a Big Deal, resulting in a gallery that is so, so pretty!
We wouldn’t hold out on you, so here is a little more of this gorg wedding from Heart Stone Films!

July 23, 2011. It’s the day we met, and the day that changed both of our lives for the better. Within weeks we both knew we had found the person we wanted to be with forever. It was only fitting that when we got engaged in February, that we wouldn’t waste any time, and wanted to get married the same weekend that we had met! Jeremy and I met at the local country bar, so when it came down to picking a style, venue and decor, RUSTIC was the only option! Jeremy and I, along with our bridesmaids and groomsmen, all wore cowboy boots (mine served as my “something blue”)!
We wanted to make sure everyone enjoyed it all, from the Ceremony to the Reception! With the help of Megan, Kailey and Gina at A Southern Soiree we got EXACTLY what we were looking for! I was determined to have an outdoor wedding, and with the help of the Pavilion at the Angus Barn staff, they made it happen! They say rain is good luck on your wedding day right? Well it POURED right after we finished taking pictures so we must have the best luck of all! Timing could not have been more perfect.
From February to July, Jeremy was constantly hearing about what little goodies I found for decorations, or what DIY projects I found to do! I wanted to make sure that everything had a consistent theme, but not every table to look exactly the same! To add a traditional touch to our wedding, I found old church pews for the parents and refinished them with help from my MOH for the front rows! We had an amazing husband and wife photography team in Meg and Josh from Love is a Big Deal, who took the edge off of a day that could have been overwhelming and got some pictures that we can treasure forever! Since I am from California, we had one of my favorite California country bands fly out to play some great dancing music at the reception, and from the feedback from all of our guests Bryan Lynn Jones and the Misfit Cowboys hit it out of the park!
All said and done, it was the wedding of our dreams! We could not have asked for anything more!
