From Orange Girl Photographs… Pamela was the perfect depiction of elegance and grace on her wedding day. Her style was modern and classic. The saying “Wear the dress, don’t let the dress wear you” came to mind as I watched Pamela move gracefully throughout her wedding day. Her Vera Wang gown fit and suited her so beautifully I thought it had been made just for her. The dress was found in New York, and I loved that it became an opportunity for her family to meet up and visit throughout their year of planning. The dress fittings became the perfect chance to meet up with dear friends and celebrate their engagement over delicious meals out in the city.
Pamela and Patrick grew up in Canada and are very close to their families. Wanting to pursue their higher education, Pamela and Patrick moved to England and have created a lot of lasting friendships all over the world. When it came time to narrowing down a location for their wedding, it was a challenge the people they love are great distances apart. They have spent many family trips together at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise, so it is a location that is very dear to them as a couple and to their families, which is why they chose to invite their loved ones to celebrate their wedding day with them there.
They were married on a terrace overlooking the glacier-fed, emerald-colored Lake Louise. A golden harp played alongside a friend’s flute as Pamela and her dad walked down the aisle. After they became husband and wife, guests were treated to a champagne toast with flowers blooming in their flutes. What stood out to me throughout the day was just how close Pamela and Patrick are to their families and friends. They truly enjoyed being with everyone dear to them in a place that means something to them.
