This may just be the giddy wedding blogger in me talking, but I’m still going to warn you to break out the tissues for this amazing highlight film from Rob Adams Films. From the very beginning, you fall in love with this whole family, and the moment when she walks down the aisle and you peek around the crowd and see people wiping away their happy tears, you may just follow suit. It’s such a refreshing bit of love for your weekend!

By coincidence, Kelly and I met in Miami, Florida in March of 2009. We were both vacationing with mutual friends and instantly hit it off. Once returning from Miami, we continued to keep in touch and moved into our first apartment just a few months later. In April of 2011, Kelly planned a mini getaway to The Water Club at the Borgata in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Right before dinner as we were getting ready in our hotel room (which was a corner suite – GORG!), Kelly hid the ring in a bowl full of candy on the bedside table. As we were about to walk out the door, Kelly asked me to grab him a piece of candy. I went over and found the ring of my dreams, a canary diamond! I turned around and Kelly was on one knee. I was shocked!
Since I was a little girl, I’ve always dreamed about getting married on the beach. Kelly’s parents have owned a house on Long Beach Island for the past 18 years. The island truly holds a special place in Kelly’s heart and I knew getting married there would really mean a lot to him. We would pass Bonnet Island on our way onto the island every weekend. The place is to die for. Beautiful picturesque grounds, an amazing boat house chapel where we exchanged vows & last but not least, the incredible ballroom. The whole atmosphere is absolute heavenly.
When it came time to pick out our wedding colors, I knew I wanted something light and fresh. I love any shade of light purple. Once I found the perfect bridesmaid dresses and it came in lilac, I knew it was meant to be. I wanted our wedding day to be beachy, yet elegant. I incorporated a lot of crystals. Our centerpieces were candelabras with an oversized shade and hanging crystals which made the ballroom that much more intimate and beautiful. August 25th was the best day of our lives and we will remember and cherish all of the memories forever!
