St. Louis Wedding from L Photographie + Sweet Tea Media

When a couple meets working at Martha Stewart and then weds four years later, it is as good as guaranteed the resulting soiree is going to be chic + classic as can be. And chic + classic it was. L Photographie captured a wedding so sweet it could cause a toothache, so beautiful you’ll need your rose-colored shades for proper viewing, and so fabulous, we had to put it into a gallery for our beloved LBBers as quickly as possible!

These two are the sweetest. I hope you saved a little time for the film from Sweet Tea Media!

We met while working for Martha Stewart in NYC. Our time there greatly influenced our wedding design.

Four years later, we were married in the Coronado Ballroom, a historic and recently renovated space in the Arts District of St. Louis. We combined the old, traditional elements of the ballroom with a modern and clean look of the white columns and simple groupings of cherry blossoms and peonies. Landis designs furniture so we loved the idea of having chairs as our placecards but wanted to find a way that wouldn’t be too costly to create individual chairs for each guest. We ran paint strips through a printer and folded each chair by hand. The colorful strips were the perfect answer and our guests got a kick out of them. Our logo was designed by a former Martha co-worker, we used it on the program and menu.

Our love for photography and design brought us together and enabled us to create the wedding of our dreams!
