If I could reach through the screen and hug Anna Jaye for bringing us this farm fête, believe me I would. It’s worthy of the tightest squeeze, even if just virtually, because it’s the type of wedding that gives you the warm and fuzzies from the very first peek. You’ll fall in love with the Bride’s veil, then the lineup of sweet maids in pink, and then you’ll fall head over heels in love with the little ones…and that’s just the very beginning, because just when you think it can’t get sweeter, it does – and you can see every bit right here.
From Anna Jaye Photography… Cristin and Joey’s wedding featured faded pinks, antique wooden tables, lanterns along a stream, a classic candy table, farm animals, twinkle lights and plenty of mason jars all rolled into a beautiful farm setting. They were married at Joey’s grandparents’ farm in Yamhill, Oregon (about an hour from Portland). Growing up, Joey spent a lot of time on the farm working and spending time with his grandparents, so it was a really special spot for this couple. The ceremony and reception were next to a stream in a slightly wooded area down the path from the barn. The decor was DIY with a rustic, country appeal that complemented the farm setting. A lot of wooden furniture was used, giving off a slightly masculine, antique vibe. The candy table, dessert table and head table were all aged wood. The bride’s mom worked on a lot of the decor and arranged the flowers with help from a friend. This wedding had a really homey, comfortable feel.
