San Francisco Wedding from Kelly Stonelake Photography
There's this little church that sits way atop a hill overlooking Tiburon and I don't know that I've ever seen anything more perfect, more quaint, more wholeheartedly made for a gorgeous wedding day. And the perfect accompaniment to that spot is images by Kelly Stonelake Photography that portray an affair as lovely and easy as the couple it's celebrating. See even more of that affair right here.
From the Bride... After 14 months of being engaged, our big day finally arrived, and we could not have been more excited! The moment it really sank in for me was when I saw my florist come to the door and tell me the flowers had arrived. I was a Style Me Pretty bride from engagement day one (ok... maybe a little before), so I had been very specific about exactly what I wanted and had so many stunning images to show her. Asako created my idea of flower perfection, and thanks to Kelly and Rhett Stonelake, I will remember them forever.
I would like to say the day went off without a hitch — alas, that was not the case! Shortly before my parents and I arrived to the ceremony site at Old Saint Hilary's, a car managed to roll off a cliff (no one was hurt, and the car was replaced). There was a firetruck, a tow truck, and a police car on site upon my arrival... My day-of coordinator had the grace to move everything along peacefully and on schedule — needless to say, Stacey is one you want on your wedding day team.
Justin and I also kept a secret from our family and friends for the entire year — we had booked Pop Rocks (b-e-s-t 80's cover band) as our reception entertainment. After our first dance (and some rumors about our DJ's bad suit) the curtains parted, and the fun really began! The night ended with a shirtless groom singing on stage, and it could not have been more perfect.
