Brooklyn Wedding from Jen Huang Photography

I love Jen Huang. Like, love, love, love. Like I should get “I love Jen Huang” t-shirts printed kind of love. Because I’ve never not teared up at one of the weddings she photographs, any one of them of which I could hang on the walls of my home. Despite not knowing the bride or groom. Jen’s photographs simply speak to me. They are soft, and etheral. Soulful and rich. Simply put, they are beauty. And this NYC celebration that she sent our way, is the epitome of Jen’s loveliness. From Jen Huang PhotographyWhen I first asked Kara how she would describe her wedding style, she said, “understated elegance with deep southern Italian cultural undertones.” I thought she described her beautiful wedding perfectly. I loved Kara’s unique Pronovias cover-up with the gorgeous off the shoulder neckline. It was a sunny day with amazing light on the edge of the East River at Giando on the Water. The views from Giando were unbelievable, and I couldn’t stop shooting as the sun set over the southern tip of Manhattan. What a perfect city venue that celebrates the New York skyline by offering guests an unobscured view from their private pier.
