A wedding so grand you get goosebumps from the very beginning, yet a video so intimate it feels like you were there celebrating with the beyond gorgeous couple. That is what we have on the table for you today my loves. Loudbyte Cinematography captured a wedding so unbelievably beautiful in a way no one else could. But first… a peek at the beautiful couple.
From Loudbyte Cinematography … Sara + Ramin’s Persian wedding took place at the historical Congress Hotel in downtown Chicago. The lighting, fixtures and architecture of the old hotel really take you back in time. Sara + Ramin’s wedding was beautifully done with a mix of Iranian and Persian customs. The couple face a mirror during their ceremony. This mirror is the ‘mirror of fate’ symbolizing the brightness of the couples future. There was a tray of 7 herbs and spices. This tray, guards the couple against the evil eye, witchcraft and to drive away evil spirits. During the ceremony, a few of the bridesmaids, grind sugar over the couples head. This symbolizes sweetness and happiness for their future.

From the bride … About two and a half years ago, I moved to Chicago from Vancouver to start my residency. Very soon I felt like I need to find a few friends from the Persian community. And yes I’m Persian myself. I looked online and found this website that connects Persians from all over the world. I was searching people under Chicago and I saw him. He looked so good and so calm that I decided to message him. After only two messages we decided to meet. Since I was new to Chicago, he chose the Tempo Café in downtown Chicago. It was July 3 and I remember the taxi ride so well. I was all dressed up and nervous and the driver was being so flirtatious. So I told him that I ‘m meeting my husband. And my husband I met.
Conversation during breakfast was smooth with no awkward pauses. He told me later on that his favorite parts of the breakfast were first my pink dress and then the fact that I was also a picky eater and hate onions. And that’s how our story started. We dated for a few weeks before I had to go back to Canada to renew my visa. He came to Vancouver to visit me. He said he didn’t want the distance to make me forget how great this new thing can be. And we’ve been inseparable since.
He proposed on July 16 in front of the Buckingham fountain and we got married on May 5 of the next year. We decided to go back and visit the Tempo Café for our wedding film and we fell in love there once again, on our wedding day.
