As we’ve mentioned before, a Groom in uniform is our piping hot cup of tea. And the only thing that could possibly make that equation even better is a match-up of crispy blues and a gorgeous glowing Bride. OK, and maybe some pink peonies folded into the mix. Now THAT is our idea of classic perfection. And this Annapolis affair captured by Petruzzo Photography has all of the above and so much more. See that so much more right here in the full gallery.
From the Bride… Seth had already booked the Naval Academy Chapel before he proposed. There were only a few dates available that would fit with his military schedule, so he took a leap of faith. Luckily for him, I said yes, and in doing so, not only got my prince charming, but also (unbeknownst to him) my dream venue. In short six months, all of the details were finalized, or so I thought. The night before our wedding day, my aunt surprised me by bringing my mother and grandmother’s wedding dress for me to try on. Much to my surprise, my grandmother’s dress (which I had admired my whole life) fit me like a glove! I carried a piece of both of their wedding dresses with me down the aisle on my bouquet and then actually changed into my grandmother’s dress for the final hour of the reception. It was one of the most magical moments of my life so far.
