Sometimes all it takes is a sweet, classic wedding to make everything right in the world. From Desi Baytan Photography… In this elegant homecoming wedding, Mary wanted to create a “Father of the Bride” feel. When Ryan popped the question while attending their alma mater, Texas Christian University, Mary knew she wanted her wedding held at her parents’ estate in Pasadena. A year’s worth of planning and a house make-over later, Mary and her parents had transformed their home into an elegant reception space for a classic, modern wedding. Guests were entertained with hors d’oeuvres and cocktails on the front lawn, and in the back was a spacious reception area with a tent enclosure. And at the center of the tent hung gorgeous crystal chandeliers. In this wedding, classic is modern again with roses, hydrangeas and cymbidium orchids for florals. And for a touch of color with her classic white gown, Mary wore her deep blue heels by Manolo Blahnik.
