I have a huge soft spot in my wedding-loving heart reserved for weddings thrown in your family home. It’s so romantic to me. Maybe it’s because I’ve watched Father of the Bride one too many times – but when I look at a gorgeous wedding like this one from the talented Adam Barnes, I not only see all the beauty of the day, but I also see all the little things this gorgeous couple’s nearest and dearest pulled together to make it the best day ever. The hours spent on making sure everything was just perfect – and after looking at all the lovely in the gallery I can definitely say…it was perfect. See it all here!
From the Bride… We met in college and moved out to Colorado after graduation. We dated for nearly nine years under all sorts of circumstances, both near (he was once my boss and we shared a 150 square foot office) and far (Colorado to New York). We chose to have the wedding at my family’s home because it is the prettiest place I know. It is also where i grew up and where my parents have put their heart, soul and thousands of weekend hours making it the special place it is. I could think of nothing better than bringing together both of our families and friends to this one spot to celebrate marriage, eat, drink and be merry!
