From the Bride… Boston is our home. Jay proposed to me on the Boston Harbor Walks, which is across the street from where we live. We always knew we wanted to have our reception at the Seaport Hotel ,which is two blocks from our apartment. We had our reception in the Lighthouse Room. We wanted a room with lots of windows and the Lighthouse Room was just that — a beautiful room with floor-to-ceiling windows and amazing views of Boston. Everything for our wedding fell into place for us perfectly. My husband and I wanted our reception to be a fun-filled party! We had an amazing band that kept everyone out of their seats and dancing all night long. We had a photo booth, fun signature cocktails (S’more-tinis and a St. Germain cocktail) and a cookie table of Italian and Greek cookies.
Our wedding day is one of our most memorable days. It was filled with laughter, love, family and friends. We were lucky to be able to get married in the same church my parents were married at over 30 years ago. Having the memory of exchanging vows with Jay on the same altar my parents did will always hold a special place in my heart. We danced the night away and got to share this day with the people that we love the most. We feel very blessed.
