From Anticipation Events... Ryanne and Kevin were married in May at Three Sisters Park in Chillicothe, Illinois. It was a party of epic proportions that was preceded by a bit of chaos. The park was exactly their vision: a totally rustic barn surrounded with wide, open space. Ryanne and Kevin did so much themselves: sweeping out the barn, hanging lights and handmade wreaths, making place cards and table numbers. Personalized Mad Libs, a vintage ride for the bride and hundreds of buttons made the almost 300-person wedding feel intimate and completely unique.
With the ceremony set outside in front of a picturesque chapel and rain pouring down, they really rolled with the punches when we had to move the ceremony inside at the last minute. It was a great moment for me because Heather at Events By Bloom and Ronald (their DJ) jumped in and helped create a beautiful backdrop and set-up for the ceremony inside as we all knew they were going to be disappointed with the weather. Also, they were totally cool when the sheep crashed the party and ordered gin and tonics. But seriously, there was a sheep and Border Collie show right next door to their venue, and in the days prior, bleating could be heard from them all day long. Luckily, a break in the rain during cocktail hour allowed Deidre Lynn Photography to get some amazing pictures outside, and they even found a horse on the property that kindly agreed to be photographed with an amazing couple on their fantastic day!
