It's no surprise that we absolutely love Australian weddings here at SMP! No matter where they take place or what style they are, you can literally see the love oozing out of each and every image. Each wedding is unique and totally creative, a perfect combination of tradition and DIY goodness. And this dear wedding, sent into us by the lovely Serendipity Corner Photography is all that and then some. So much love went into crafting this day and we love that it all happened on the bride's grandfather's apple orchard. See each and every inch right here in the full gallery!

From the Bride... The venue for our wedding ceremony was an apple orchard where my mother and grandfather grew up. The apple tree is the "Tree of Love" in Celtic astrology and spoke to both my husband's and my Scottish origins. The property has been in our family for over 90 years and has a special place in all our hearts. The apple theme was a beautiful inspiration for the ceremony and reception decorations. We had the fresh granny smith apples on our tables and in the vases, and in homage to my Nan (a great jam maker), our bonbonniere was personalized bottles of apple jam, which also doubled as the place cards. My husband's Nan was also included and baked homemade yo-yos and biscuits for the tea and coffee table, which featured my family's vintage tea cups really set off our vintage theme. I also designed my own wedding shoes as I wanted something unique but still bride-like, however for the ceremony at the farm I wore personalized "love" gumboots, which were a real hit with the guests!
