With Labor Day here already, and the end of summer feeling pretty official, we couldn’t help but close it out in the most amazing way we could think of. A tomato fight engagement session in South Carolina. Today while you’re cutting up those tomatoes to put on your burgers, you may want to think about starting a flirty little food fight with your love – because as Elisabeth Millay Photography proved to us, it’s pretty stinking adorable. Edward and I both wanted to do something very special and meaningful for our engagement photos. Being newbies in front of the camera, we wanted to highlight our fun side and just do what comes naturally. Seaside Farm is an important place to both of us. It is Edward’s family farm that he was raised on growing and picking tomatoes. His family’s house is located on the property as well, and the dock that we jumped off of is the place where he proposed to me on Christmas Eve of 2011. We are both ocean lovers, so incorporating the water was perfect. During our engagement session with Elisabeth Millay, tropical depression Debbie was rolling in. The rain made the shoot lighthearted and romantic. I think it is important to remember that it is about being yourselves and showing people the fun side of your relationship. I mean how many times do you get to throw tomatoes at one another and someone capture it in such a creative way?
