Delivering, yet again, a delightful dose of inspiration, I am blown away by this entire shoot and have somehow fallen in even more love with Hello Darling‘s effortless floral arrangements. From Bliss Weddings & Events… With the idea of producing a fanciful collection of parties that follow the progression of wedding-related celebrations a couple encounters throughout their engagement, Renny Pedersen, Kara Superfine and Katie Kozlowski of Bliss Weddings and Events are taking readers on a year-long journey with our dreamy faux couple, Charlotte and William, joining them from fabulous féte to féte. They started with the engagement party, and now we present Charlotte’s bridal shower.
As summer set in, Charlotte’s maid of honor hosted a bridal shower that was every part as stylish, unique and thoughtful as the bride. Taking cues from Charlotte’s personality — she loves to shop and finds such joy in unique and timeless pieces, she loves the Sunday crossword puzzle and a good challenge, and more than anything, she has a sweet tooth — the maid of honor selected one of Charlotte’s favorite stores, Vintage Charm, to host the shower. Nestled between clothing and treasures for the home, the table was set with vibrant, feminine colors. The sparkling tabletop boasted darling printed details, including custom coasters encouraging guests to toast the bride, a mini-menu on the accent plate and custom monograms on the ghost chairs as place cards. During the shower and shop soiree, girls visited the champagne bar (brut and rose, along with a myriad of garnishes!), filled out advice cards that the maid of honor later made in to a book, gave a bridal crossword a whirl and filled goodie bags with sweets galore. The bartender played homage to the bride’s soon-to-be last name and sported an apron with her new surname initial, while a singer-songwriter duo covered all of the bride’s favorite tunes during the party. As the shower wrapped, guests were given luxe gift baskets labeled “From Charlotte’s Shower to Yours” that were filled with decadent bath goodies.
