They say when you find the wedding dress of your dreams, you'll just know...like fate has a role in choosing the gown. Fate definitely intervened for this (super cool!) couple when they found the perfectly kitschy Belcroft Estates & Event Center. The vintage-country loving bride and vintage-car loving groom were each fully represented in their rustic venue and their fun + funky personalities were infused in all the DIY details! Lucky for us, Barefeet Photography captured every moment flawlessly. There's so much more right here!

From the Bride... I have been friends with Dave's sister for a long time. She attempted to set us up several times, but the timing was always off and we never connected until Christmas of 2009 – Dave's sister invited me to a Christmas party at their other sister's home. Dave and I spent the night talking and singing punk rock songs. He asked me for my number, and the rest is history. :)
The inspiration behind the wedding day was vintage and fun. I love vintage country and Dave loves vintage cars — we knew we wanted a barn venue and when we found Belcroft Estates, it suited us both. It was a vintage barn with amazing memorabilia and an awesome drive shed with vintage cars. It all flew by so fast! I loved exchanging our vows and looking my best friend in the eyes and promising myself to him forever. The father/daughter dance was also very special to me – my dad and I have been through a lot and he means the world to me.
My advice to other brides planning a wedding is to make sure the day represents you and your groom. The day can be anything you want it to be! Slow down and take it all in – other brides aren't kidding when they say the day flies by. If you can, get a wedding coordinator to take care of final details and set-up so the only thing you need to worry about is enjoying every second!
