Our Labor of Love shoots some of my favorite weddings. Magic ensues when they grab hold of a camera, and when they team up with We Tie The Knots for the wedding of a seriously stylish couple like this one – it sets off all of my SMP alarms. It’s everything I love about a personality-filled party (including that Anthropologie shrug I need to make mine ASAP), and you can see every gorgeous bit right here.
From We Tie The Knots… Sarah and Kevin tied the knot on May 6, 2012, at Empire State South restaurant in Atlanta, Georgia. This venue was so naturally them, and everything just fit together perfectly with their theme. We helped in the designing/decor aspect of this wedding, and I must say it turned out beautiful and was so much fun. Their ceremony took place outside on the bocce court/lawn area with all different style vintage chairs for the guests. The front rows of the aisle had vintage furniture for family seating, which also made for some great photos. We brought in a chandelier and had it hung over the altar, along with a multicolor ribbon backdrop. The tablescapes had a real personal touch with vintage medical prescriptions with the table numbers stamped over them, along with music sheets used as the table runners.
