Charlottesville Wedding at Ash Lawn-Highland from Cramer Photo

Before I get into all the things that have charmed my socks right off about this sweet fête, I simply must thank Cramer Photo for sending it our way. It’s a splash of sunshine with a side of charm, and that just happens to be my favorite combination ever. It’s causal yet chic, sophisticated yet sweet – and I am 100% positive that all made for one amazing day! See it all here!

From Cramer PhotoPeter and Cheryl met at James Madison University and were friends for years before they finally fell in love. Even though the couple now lives in DC, they returned to Virginia for their wedding and were married at historic Ash Lawn outside of Charlottesville. The guests came from all over the globe — it was a celebration people were not willing to miss! The bonds of family are very important to both the bride and groom. Even the food was catered by a family member! It was delicious too! The wedding even included a flamenco dance lesson for all the guests. The theme for their engagement session was to emphasize their obvious love for each other as well as their love to travel together. This theme continued at their wedding — guests filled out vintage post cards from various locations on the globe with sweet messages to wish the couple well. It was a pleasure and a treat to be involved in this special day.
