Sometimes, it’s those sweet, simple, thoughtfully crafted weddings that we love the most here on SMP and this one fits the bill entirely. Photographed flawlessly by Zac Wolf, this wedding is basically as lovely as lovely gets. With a bride, all glowy and gorgeous, a groom in love and pretty flowers all in a row. The handcrafted details, the peonies for days and the general sense of gorgeous are all just a fabulous bonus. Click here to see so much more.
From Zac Wolf Photography … From the moment I first met Tim and Sarah at their engagement session, I knew their wedding would be one for the record books. When I showed up to the Desmond Tutu Center on their big day, rays of sunlight were shining through the trees surrounding the grounds, and I could tell it was going to be a perfect summer day in the city. This wedding was filled with beautiful and personal touches, such as letterpressed invitations; pennant flags; paper straws; refreshing, citrus-flavored water and wooden fans. Their wedding cake was shipped in from a local bakery in Rhode Island where Tim has gotten his birthday cake every year for as long as he can remember. However, the most impressive detail of this awesome wedding was the amazing banquet hall set-up of the reception hall. The long tables were a fantastic way to make all the guests feel like one giant family. Mid-reception, Sarah and Tim snuck away so she could change into to a traditional Qipao her mother had brought back from China. Then, we headed off to the Highline for some fantastic portraits in absolutely perfect New York evening light. Back at the reception, there was tons of dancing and fun from their friends and families to celebrate the beautiful day and the love of Tim and Sarah!
