From Meghan Sepe Weddings… Nell and Andy were married on May 26 in the famous Trinity Church on Spring Street in Newport, Rhode Island. Following the ceremony, they took all their guests on a harbor cocktail cruise on the Rum Runner II, passing landmarks such as the New York Yacht Club and other Newport sights. The reception was held in a tent and on the docks at Regatta Place at Goat Island Marina, also in Newport. Dinner and dancing went well into the night… The firetruck images were from a fire alarm mishap at the venue that we made the most of.
This wedding was full of nautical inspired details and colors. The groom is a professional sailor and sailing commenter, and the bride owns a string of gorgeous boutiques located in Newport, Vermont and Nantucket. Her personal style and boutiques are tasteful, yachting-chic apparel and home decor, and Nell has impeccable taste across the board. Andy is from the UK and played it up with preppy coat tails with a bright pink silk inner lining. Both Nell and Andy are happy, sweet, lighthearted people, so the bright green pedicabs to the church were no surprise and a lot of fun.
