These Massachusetts residents travelled back to the bride’s home state of New York for a simply stunning Hudson River Valley wedding at Highlands Country Club. Filled with bright pink + green florals by Flowers by Barbara (who also happens to be the bride’s mom!) and the cutest cupcakes ever by The Pastry Garden, this summer soiree kept me smiling through the entire gallery with perfect photos by Sara Wight Photography!

From Sara Wight Photography… Currently living in Massachusetts, Ellie and Jonathan chose the bride’s original hometown of Cold Spring, New York, as the location for their June wedding. Sweeping views of the Hudson River Valley provided a stunning backdrop for the bride and groom’s special day, including Boscobel House and Gardens for portraits and Our Lady of Restoration Chapel for the couple’s ceremony. An avid antique car collector, the bride’s father provided them with an antique Ford Edsel, which the couple drove to their reception, which was held at the elegantly appointed Highlands Country Club in nearby Garrison, New York. No detail was left unnoticed, including the groomsmen’s personalized tie clips, seating cards held in small pots of grass, and a tray of “wishing stones” that the couple’s guests could sign wishing the couple well. The mother of the bride, a local florist, designed the beautiful floral arrangements and centerpieces of fuchsia and lime green roses. They matched perfectly not only with the bridesmaids’ dresses and groomsmen’s ties, but also Ellie’s Kate Spade pumps and Jonathan’s socks. Cocktail hour was held on the lawn of the country club and featured wood-burning fire pits, and it was followed by dinner and dancing in the candlelit dining room.
