From Trevor & Larissa | Documentary Meets Fine Art... I'm excited to share Sara & Leah's cottage engagement session with you — straight from the far reaches of Muskoka and right to your door! These two have spent countless days filling this space with laughter, love and memories — it seemed the perfect spot to escape to for their photo session together. Understandably, this is their favourite place in the world — away from the hustle & bustle of the city and tucked in the trees, surrounded by fresh air and packed with memories. Dock jumping in the cool water, sun-tanning in loungers, hiking through the forest and relaxing in Muskoka chairs — all in a day's work up at the cottage.
A sweet, unique couple, they decided to do things a little differently and wear their plain bands now and bling things up after the wedding. It's a Scandinavian tradition that both ladies adore and have adopted leading up to their wedding day. These two are simply adorable, snuggling under the trees one minute and leaping off the dock together in unison the next. There's something special about that cottage air: maybe it's the warmth of the community or perhaps it's the cozy details and trinkets scattered throughout the space that make it feel like home, but it simply brings out the best in people. The cottage is their getaway, their perfect little spot in the tucked away in the woods, and it was the ideal place to share a little love and commemorate their engagement.
