Day-After Session at the Inn at Park Winters by Marin Kristine Photography
Morning coffee, a scrumptious breakfast spread and your newly crowned significant other dancing with you in the rain. That is a day-after session well spent. From the Bride... When a girl dreams of her perfect wedding, she takes every detail into consideration. I was no exception. My husband (the love of my life) and I agreed we wanted a simple, elegant wedding that would focus on our love for one another. As most couples are, we were on a budget, but we weren't willing to skimp on one area: our photographs. The most important aspect of our wedding was having something we could re-live throughout the rest of our lives together. Our photographer was the most important vendor, period. We spent many hours looking at photographers — from their style of work to their personalities. We found Marin Kristine and KNEW it was the right fit. After we had a consultation with her, we learned how detailed, creative and talented she is. Marin is full of a contagious, beautiful energy we couldn't get enough of, and we felt right at home with her. Marin was with us throughout our entire wedding day. She made us feel comfortable, relaxed and at ease.
We loved her work so much that we asked to have a post-wedding stylized shoot (a day-after session) at a beautiful venue very close to where we all live: The Inn at Park Winters. We were able to let loose, dance in the rain, get a little more creative, laugh and even jump in mud puddles, which obviously I wouldn't have been able to do on my actual wedding day. We also wanted to incorporate so much more of our artistic and organic style. We are hippies at heart and value the Earth and the beauty she provides. We shared our vision — and Posh Florist and Events surprised us with more beauty than we could have imagined and hoped for! They utilized elements from the earth, such as water, rocks, ferns, succulents – it even rained on the day of our session together. This amazing shoot gave us the opportunity to create a soft, earthy feel that fit our personalities to a tee. We feel as though we just got to play while Marin did all of the work. That, in my opinion, is the description of an amazing photographer. My husband and I are beyond thrilled we decided to have our post-wedding session. It completed our event. We are so thankful to our new-friend and photographer.
