Carinwood Wedding from mk Photography + CinemaCake
I know I wasn't the only girl who dressed up in her moms frilly gown, donned the too-big heels, and danced around my living room to "Someday My Prince Will Come" dreaming of a fairy tale wedding. Chances are a few of you are blushing caught up in your own memories of your princess wedding dreams. But today, we have a fairy tale come true soiree and it is a total swoon fest as all the little girls grown up are dancing around in a lovely haze brought on by mk Photography's lovely images - a whole gallery of them!
When we saw CinemaCake's name on the vendor list, we just HAD to ask for a little video... and we were definitely not disappointed.
Josh and I initially met in at a salsa club through mutual friends. At the time both Josh and I were dating other people... So we really didn't pay each other any mind.... Although he says he was checking me out.
We crossed each other again a year later when he was a medical student interning on my unit at Cooper Hospital. He called my name and at first I didn't recognize him but then he referred to the night at the salsa club and described what I was wearing and even remembered how I had my hair. I remember thinking how handsome he was so when he asked to go out I didn't think twice.
We dated all though his last two years of medical school at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. We got engaged during his first year of residence. We initially were to be married in May 2010, but the stresses of residence life was a bit overwhelming so we canceled the wedding. I wasn't sure if was ever going to happen.... And I was devastated to say the least.
After residency Josh re-proposed on my birthday when he took me to go see "The Jersey Boys" on broad way. During the song "Your Just to Good to Be True," I look over and Josh had my engagement ring and he slipped it back on my finger!
In planning the wedding AGAIN, we wanted something more intimate and beautiful. We found Cairnwood and we knew we had found our place.
