Sydney Wedding at Bella Vista Farm by Love Katie and Sarah
This couple is so super cute. He's from the county and she's a city girl. They decided on Bella Vista Farm for their big day because it's a little bit of the country in the city. We love how laid back and casual their affair was and that they kept their near and dear in mind and made their recepetion totally kid friendly with finger foods and cocktails. No stuffy sit down dinner for this fun couple! Love Katie and Sarah captured all the gorgeous details and there's so much to see right here in the full gallery!
From the Bride... Angus and I were way too relaxed to have a sit-down meal wedding, so opted for a cocktail-style, finger food reception, which worked perfectly for all the families we love who have beautiful children who probably couldn't sit still that long! Drink tubs were purchased from Bunnings and filled with drinks by the bridal party and our parents. Access to the farm was allowed after 7 a.m., so the bridal party and our parents were there to set EVERYTHING up for the day. Tables, chairs, hay bales (from a discount fruit and veg shop in Richmond), fairy lights, solar lights, chalk boards, ceremony set-up, etc. The gorgeous lolly bags were just black paper bags bought from an online store, then my sister hand drew the rose on every bag herself and hand-wrote every name! Little ideas such as my veil, the boys' clothing and the lolly bag display were inspired by Google searches for "bohemian wedding," "rustic wedding" and "vintage wedding." Angus is from the country, and I'm from the city. We originally wanted our wedding to be in the Blue Mountains as it is halfway between Mudgee and Sydney. Nothing was available (it was short notice — we got engaged in October and married in February!) so we were back to square one. Bella Vista Farm was perfect as it was easy for those traveling interstate (including our amazing photographers!) and was a bit of country in the city, which was us anyway!
