Sometimes Mondays require a little extra pretty, we get that, so this morning we are sharing a wedding so pretty, so perfect you won’t even need that cup of jo to help energize your day. It’s just that good (and you would never know a hurricane was looming). It’s the gorgeous creation of Jubilee Events complete with delicious florals by Blush Floral Design, and all captured so beautifully by Lisa Berry Photography and Carla Ten Eyck. From Jubilee Events… This gorgeous couple was married on the day of hurricane Irene — but you’d never know judging by the smiles on their faces and the beautiful images captured by Lisa Berry and Carla Ten Eyck. We worked with both of them for a few short months to completely design and plan their wedding, so imagine our surprise when a category 2 hurricane was headed our way the day of their wedding! Their amazing creative talents that helped to pull together such a beautiful wedding pulled out all the stops so we could move their wedding ceremony timing from 5 p.m. to noon with only 24 hours advance notice.
Our bride really wanted to have a gorgeous, romantic wedding inspired by her love of J.Crew with a soft color palette of peach, slate blue, pink and gold. We designed a gorgeous dining tent, complete with pewter crystal chandeliers, ivory Tuscany linens, clean ghost chairs and sweet floral arrangements filled with peach garden roses and other beautiful floral accents. Guests dined on a summer menu of grilled meates, fish and vegetables with summer salads and sides perfect for their late August wedding. As favors, guests took home brass compasses tucked inside beautiful muslin bags with a custom floral stamp by Ceci New York and a note that said “Love is the compass of life.”
