From OKRFOTO... I met Sarah and Tim after photographing their close friends, Shannon and Andy, last July at the University of Chicago. Upon our initial meeting, Sarah told me that was very important to capture the beauty of their venue, Anderson Japanese Gardens. Having lived in Tokyo, I was extremely excited by the thought of photographing a summer wedding in a Japanese garden. Sarah also mentioned that she would be hand-folding hundreds of origami flowers as place cards, one of the many DIY details that added extra beauty to the day. I absolutely floored when the gardens starting filling up with family and friends on a perfect summer day. Sarah was absolutely radiant, and Tim was so filled with joy. As cliche as it might sound, you really have to see the images to get a sense of just how beautiful and elegant the entire celebration was. Hands down, one of the most gorgeous weddings I have had the pleasure of photographing!
