Chesapeake Bay Beach Club Wedding from Kimberly Brooke Photography

If you’re craving a summer vaca on the water with a gorgeous view, this Chesapeake Bay Beach Club soiree could not have come at a better time. It’s the perfect midweek refresher to keep you going until your weekend, and we haven’t even discussed the best part yet. The wedding at center. Captured by Kimberly Brooke Photography, it is stunning and refreshing, with love, laughter, and joy radiating from every smile. And, if you can believe it, there is even more here!

Ryan and I were introduced to each other by a mutual friend in the Spring of 2006 while visiting the Delaware Beaches.  At the time, Ryan was living in Delaware and I was living in Chicago but job opportunities fatefully allowed us to both move to central Maryland later that summer and we quickly reconnected. We fell in love and it’s been happy days ever since.

Ryan proposed on Valentines Day in 2010. We immediately began planning for what would eventually be the most perfect, magical, fun, exciting and beautiful day of our lives.

We saw many beautiful places when trying to choose our venue, but the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club was our favorite.  It is located right on the Chesapeake Bay and has beautiful views of the water and the Chesapeake Bay Bridge.  Ryan and I both love the beach and being outdoors, and at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club we could be married in a location that was reminiscent of the beach where we first met.  Recently renovated, the rooftop deck of their Sunset Ballroom allowed us to say “I do” outside under large, modern royal blue umbrellas with blue skies in the background.  It was simple and perfect.

At the reception, wall to wall bay windows allowed our guests to not only see the gorgeous sunset on the water, but to experience it as the atmosphere changed from a semi formal meal to dancing as night fell.

Our day was perfect because we were surrounded by all the love and excitement from our friends and family, it was a beautiful day at the perfect venue, and I got to marry my best friend. Ryan and I wouldn’t change a thing!
