Bohemian Inspiration Shoot by Captured by Aimee + Sweet Emilia Jane
Guilty: I have a crush on Captured by Aimee, so when I saw her name I knew I was in for a treat. She just gets it and so does Sweet Emila Jane. So, what we have here, ladies and gentlemen, is a double dose of bohemian inspiration! I relish over a great table scape and this drool worthy plain is full of deep color and rich textures. This shoot makes me want to host my own dinner party stat and replicate this beautiful boho-vibe. For more inspiration, head over to the full gallery of photos.
From Sweet Emilia Jane... For the bohemian table, we were inspired by rich textures, Moroccan fabrics, layered jewelry and glittery gold details. To make the boho vibe more current, each floral arrangement was made with one type of flower in a monochromatic tone, and the vases were filled with gold sequins. We wanted to create a lush, rich table without it looking too wild or eclectic. We chose sleek, modern flatware and dinnerware from West Elm and added in unique touches, such as the vintage brass demi-goblets, hand-painted gold menus, wood salt cellars and patterned fabrics in the runners and napkins. We created gold wire napkin rings inspired by our paper goods, which add just a bit of that hand-crafted look we love. The invitations were inspired by gold bangles and ikat fabric, and each was hand-painted for an added touch of glam. We envisioned an chic, artist couple who loves to travel, frequent art exhibits and chill at wine bars. They want their wedding to have hints of their favorite travel destinations but with a modern twist. This wedding would look perfect in an art gallery, loft or hip hotel.
