A Dark and Stormy may be in order when scrolling through this Sands Point Preserve wedding shot by Jenny Ebert Photography. The beautiful couple was wed in a Medieval-style castle and they carried out their gothic-chic theme through the entire celebration. Candelabra centerpieces climbing with vines were accented with dripping-wax tapers…and the bride kept things dramatic with her layered Vera Wang stunner. From Jenny Ebert Photography… Jennifer Mushkin and Jared Goldman were married Saturday October 15, 2011, at Hempstead House in Sands Point, New York. Jared and Jenny met in 2007 at the Sundance Film Festival. A documentary he had produced, “Manda Bala” (“Send a Bullet”), was in competition, and she was working for the festival as a volunteer. One evening, she and some friends passed a house with a party going on and decided to drop in. Mr. Goldman noticed Ms. Mushkin come in. A few days later, Mr. Goldman’s film won an award, and he invited her to a celebration. Unfortunately, she was sick, having spent the entire festival working, then having fun afterward. So they met several days later in New York for a movie screening and then went to a piano bar. The rest is history.
