From the Bride… Brandon and I met on an airplane while he was living in Santa Barbara and I was living in the Bay Area. From the beginning, we were traveling back and forth to see each other every other weekend. When it came time to decide on the venue, we both immediately knew Santa Barbara was where we would have the wedding. It is our favorite place in the world, where we first fell in love and where we hope to one day live. Picking the venue was easy — San Ysidro Ranch is the most beautiful, charming hotel in the world and the perfect location for our intimate ceremony of 20. The natural lighting, gorgeous gardens … how does one begin to describe how amazing it is? We wanted to keep everything natural, rustic, charming — just like the ranch itself. We really lucked out finding various pieces online through former brides and family members (while all along the way having SMP in mind!). We focused on the details — having coloring books for the kids, keeping everything beautiful but simple as not to distract from the beauty of the ranch and what the day was really about — our incredible love for each other!
