From the bride: Wright and I were married on May 7, 2011 at Three Points Ranch in Round Mountain, Texas.  Before we got engaged, I had no idea where I wanted to get married.  We ultimately choose the Texas Hill Country because it was a central location for family and friends and met my husband’s one and only criteria – to get married in cowboy boots.  We looked at our wedding as the only day in our lives where all of our closest friends and family would be together and wanted to make sure that we would have a chance to spend time with everyone.  It was also important to us that our wedding represent our casual, natural aesthetic and at the same time, we wanted to create an energetic party that our guests would remember.

Once I found Three Points Ranch, everything else fell into place.  Sally, the ranch owner, put me in contact with my wedding planner, Alisha Koborg with Dalish Events and Design.  Alisha took my under-inspired design vision and helped me create the carefree, elegant style that made our wedding day truly memorable.  Sally also introduced me to Antonio Bond, my florist and a true artist.  Antonio arranged flowers and succulents into pieces of driftwood, which served as centerpieces for the tables and the ceremony site.  For the food, we choose smoked BBQ, mac ‘n cheese, fried okra, mashed potatoes, green beans and pecan pie.  After dinner, our band, LC Rocks, kept everyone dancing to 80’s rock music until late into the night.  Fortunately, our fabulous photographer, Jennifer Lindberg captured all the amazing details and memorable moments because the evening went by entirely too fast.

From Alisha with Dalish Events: After meeting with Jessica I knew this wedding needed to be a truly beautiful event to match her personality and the magical Three Points Ranch.  She wanted minimal colors, only pops here and there of yellow and blue.  She loved the idea of incorporating succulents as a cake topper and mini succulents to give as favors.  The succulents paired attractively with Antonio Bond’s vision of driftwood and creamy floral arrangements.  Everything that went into this wedding and reception was very natural and paired perfectly with the surroundings.  However, there were pops here and there of fun, like the blue and gray striped straws tied to the mason jars and the cupcakes and pecan pies in glass jars.  I believe their fun and casual elegance was captured most vividly through their custom chandelier made out of glass ornaments hung from the barn’s iron chandelier.  The bulbs twinkled above the cake just like their sparkler send off.   Thank you Jessica and Wright for letting me be a part of your day.  This was a gorgeous wedding for two gorgeous people!
