When I think of Cape Cod, my mind immediately escapes to a sandy shore line, white-washed wood and clean lines. Well, this Wychmere Beach Club wedding shot by Meredith Perdue hit all my coastal high notes! A green and white floral palette by New England Gardens kept the event light and airy allowing the adorable bride and groom to really steal the show (along with their bow-tie clad yellow lab)! Matt & Melissa, college sweethearts, were married at the beautiful Wychmere Beach Club in Harwich Port, Massachusetts earlier this spring. Having spent a lot of time on Cape Cod with each other since they first began dating as students at UNH, a wedding on the Cape seemed to be quite fitting for these two! Their beloved yellow lab, Henry, joined Matt & Melissa on the beach for a few photos and even donned a handsome J.Crew bow tie!
After their outdoor ceremony on the Wychmere lawn overlooking the harbor, Matt & Melissa were joined by their family and friends upstairs in the light-filled Ocean Room. Arrangements of various white flowers – peonies, ranunculus, and tulips, to name a few – filled the tables, further brightening up the cheerful reception room. Matt & Melissa spent the evening dancing with their family and friends, soaking up every bit of their lovely day, before jetting off to Belize for their honeymoon!
