Horsetail Lake Engagement Session by Gina Cristine Photography

What may look like a lucky-in-love couple enjoying a picnic on a sunny afternoon, is one well thought out engagement shoot chock full of sweet symbolism. Gina Christine Photography accompanied the adorable duo to their favorite biking trail at Horsetail Lake, and while they played and smooched on vintage bikes and enjoyed cheese and wine they picked up in France together - she snapped up these pretty pictures for us to enjoy. You simply must see the rest of the sunset sweetness, so be sure to check out the full shoot for more!

From Gina Christine Photography... Nick and Laura wanted an engagement session that symbolized their relationship. The location was a spot that they love to bike together, called Horsetail Lake in Palos, Illinois. Because they love to bike, but did not want to use modern mountain bikes, they borrowed two vintage bikes. Laura also always wanted to have a sunset picnic with Nick, that is where their wine and cheese picnic idea came from. The bottle of red wine is a bottle they purchased together in France, they both love to travel together. Nick proposed in an apple orchard, hence the ring and apple image. Nick and Laura are having an October wedding in downtown Chicago.
