Weddings are the best. We think it’s fabulous when two people in love combine their tastes into one beautiful affair. And the fact that you get to wear some of the most fabulous clothing of your life is just icing on the cake. So when a wedding coordinated by CLINK, flora’d by Sprout and captured by Lisa Woods Photography that was so obviously adorable landed in my lap I filled a gallery with all the images and put it on the calendar as quickly as possible. You will LOVE it.

We realized very quickly that the most important thing to us was to have our friends and family be a part of our day. With this focus we tried to make the whole day feel like us as much as possible. We are mountain bikers, campers, climbers and travelers so we wanted a natural, simple, outdoor wedding. From there we just let our ideas take over and asked friends and family to help out to make them become a reality. One of Tim’s groomsman drew the bicycle table place cards, my mom collected vintage milk glass and we borrowed the lanterns from a friend. Also, since Tim’s sister owns Granite Ranch, not only was it was the perfect backdrop for the whole day, but it’s a place full of memories that we’ve shared with his family. In the end that’s what makes the day so special, having the people you love contribute and be a part of the whole experience!
The most fun I had planning our wedding was when Tim got involved and put in his own ideas. Our friends often refer to us as “fire and water” because we balance each other so well. I chose mustard and navy for our colors, but he added in the purple accents because it’s his favorite color. He chose Salt Lick because it’s his favorite BBQ in Austin and I figured it fit well with the ranch theme. I found vintage windows for our ceremony backdrop and Tim placed them perfectly in the oak grove. I’ve never felt our partnership more than during that time.
