Backyard New Hampshire Wedding by Jana Williams Photography

The minute my lucky eyes got to take a peek at this pretty party captured by Jana Williams Photography, I was smitten. Seriously smitten. My heart went into a tizzy of adoration and oohs and ahhs seemed to slip uncontrollably from my mouth. This, lovelies, is one adorable affair. It’s a backyard beauty with local New Hampshire flair and a bride and groom that look WAY too pretty to be real. Oh but they are, it’s all real and out of control adorable – and there is even more to ooh and ahh over in the full gallery of images!

From Jana Williams PhotographyKeri Lynn and John were married on a perfect fall day in Keri Lynn’s hometown of Salem, New Hampshire. Fall leaves, blue skies, and 150 of their closest friends and family welcomed the couple “home.” Keri Lynn, a television and film actress, and John, a marketing executive, live in Beverly Hills, California and wanted the reception to reflect their dreams and hope for the future by hosting the event on the future building site for Keri Lynn and John’s New England home. The setting was an 8-acre private pond, purchased by Keri Lynn’s parents and shared with her brother and sister and their families.

All the vendors, including the beer, lobster, and flowers were local to New Hampshire, giving their wedding a true “Feels Like Home” theme. With every last detail crafted by the bride, the wedding felt like a romantic, personal fairytale. Some of the DIY details Keri Lynn handcrafted included a wooden hand painted “wishing tree” sign, hanging mirrored table numbers, 250 felted acorns, chalkboard menu signs, thank you cards, photo booth tickets, save the date cards, tulle and chiffon flowers, mini chalkboard escort cards and place cards, custom hand-stamped wishing tree tags, spray-painted burlap welcome bags (filled with local goodies), an “I Have the Rings”wooden sign, gold spray-painted glass jars (used as mini vases at each table setting), bent fork card holders, and spray-painted chandeliers hung over the dance floor. Keri Lynn’s mother, Nancy, also baked 150 homemade apple pies in mini mason jars as part of the dessert bar, which also included a caramel apple bar and donuts. The sugar flowers on top of the wedding cake were made to match the back of Keri Lynn’s ceremony gown. The vintage bride and groom cake topper came from Keri Lynn’s parents’ wedding cake. Keri Lynn worked with couture designer Marc Bouwer (NY) to design a custom reception gown, Simon G (LA) to design a one-of-a-kind wedding band for the groom, and Dana Davis (Beverly Hills) to design unique and stunning blue heels.
