Backyard Denver Wedding by Save the Date Events
When your huz-to-be tells you that his only request for your upcoming wedding is that the colors be the same of that of his favorite football team, you kinda have to give it to him. Especially when his oh-so-generous family is hosting a fabulous destination wedding right in their own backyard! Save the Date Events took the groom's request and created a fabulous tented blue and orange themed fete with florals so downright vibrant and pretty, they'll stop you in your tracks. From Save the Date Events... Rosie and Taylor were one of the sweetest couples we have had the pleasure of working with. They both live in Washington DC and wanted a fabulous tent wedding at the home of Taylor’s mom in Denver. Rosie had great design ideas, and we loved working together to create the overall atmosphere. We incorporated many wonderful little details, such as custom-made napkins, royal blue glassware, grandma’s antique linens at cocktail hour and a custom cake made with love by a family friend. The groom’s only request was that the wedding be Denver Bronco’s colors: orange and blue. We took those colors and designed a natural, vintage-inspired, tented wedding. The clean look of the wood tables and bamboo chairs really made a style impact as guests entered the tent. This is one of the few weddings we have done with very limited linens. The clear top tent, twinkle lights and hanging metal lanterns created an intimate and magical feel for the reception.
