Peppers Coorabell Retreat Wedding by Calli B Photography
I'm so head over heels in love with this wedding that it's actually sort of embarrassing! From the shabby chic aisle style complete with petal cones and pretty tulle to the lovely, handwritten vows including a sweeter than sweet reading by the groom's son, this wedding is the epitome of romance. The images from Calli B Photography are so stunning that they need no introduction whatsoever. Click here for the full, gorgeous spread!

From Calli B Photography... Angela, an actress, and Ben, a TV producer, have a beautiful partnership, and as couple they are both romantic and modern. This is reflected at their lush green Byron Bay Hinterland wedding, choosing to marry where Ben proposed and seeking the rare and unconventional that made their special day truly memorable. The style was white shabby chic. Tulle was added on the platform where the vows were spoken, all the way around the top and down the centre poles. The bride placed handmade petal cones on the corners of the chairs, fairy lights in the centre two trees and tissue paper pompoms in the trees and on the pathway down to the ceremony. The couple wrote their own unusual vows and kept them a secret from each other, and when it was time to speak those sacred words, they were both very surprised at how similar their vows were!
The couple looked extremely elegant, stylish and timeless. Unforgettable moments were Ben trying to put his wedding ring on Angela's finger :), a bridesmaid singing “At Last” by Etta James with the string trio, and Ben’s son, Lewis, beautifully reading, “I believe in fairy tales, Where rainbows have pots of gold at their end, Where good wins over evil, Where love conquers all, Where the good guy always gets the girl and where they live happily ever after. I wish all that for Daddy and Angie.” There were countless unique touches. The heart-shaped, passion fruit shortbread bombonieres were homemade by the bride's mum and stamped with the words “love is sweet” on them. And if you thought the bride was only about romance, try again! She also has a practical side opting to make “help yourself” boxes of goodies in the bathrooms for the guests to use if they needed hairspray, quickeze, panadol, bobby pins, mozzie repellant, deodorant, etc. The bridal dance song was “Lets Stay together” by Al Green, the bride's favourite, and in the ultimate compromise, they also had “No One” by Alicia Keys as this is Ben's favourite song. What a stunning couple, inside and out!
