Sydney Engagement Party Film at Grand Paradiso by Bernard Lau Films

Bernard Lau Films always sends over beauties as far as wedding films go, and we love to see a fun engagement party thrown into the mix for good measure too! Mostly when the engagement party happens to be full of tradition, culture and an adorable couple anxious to tie the knot. It's a fabulous way to spend five minutes of your day, so we highly recommend doing just that!

From Bernard Lau Films... Sevil and Hus will be married at the end of this year, but we had the chance to film their engagement party that was held in January for over 600 guests! We think the final number was close to the 700 mark. Being of Turkish background, the engagement party was filled with traditions, including a ring ceremony, a Taki (pinning of money to the engaged couple) and also a special dance that the engaged couple performed in the evening called the Harmandali. This dance is significant to their heritage and each region of Turkey has their own dance.
