During the initial consultation, Couture Weddings will carefully listen to your desires and dreams and then go on to design an exquisite wedding beyond the expectations of the couple and their guests. Our couples have acknowledged Couture Wedding Planning's Passion and Dedication to weddings and have recently voted them the Winner of the 2011 Australian Bridal Industry Awards for Best Independent Wedding Consultant. We live, eat and breathe weddings!!
Couture Wedding Planning owner, Fiona Deans-Dundas, has been in the event and hotel industry for the last 12 years and in the Bridal Industry for the last 6 years. I grew up in Zimbabwe and moved to Australia in the year 2000 to attend a three year course to gain my Degree in Hospitality and Event Management from the Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School in Leura. After working in hotels in Sydney and Oxford in the UK for a few years, I returned to Australia in 2006 to complete my Master in Accounting. While I was completing my Masters I worked at a beautiful bridal boutique in the Dymocks Building and fell in love with weddings. After I completed my Masters I decided to open up my own Wedding Planning Business combining my years in the Event industry with my Accounting experience and my love of Weddings. We recently celebrated our businesses 3rd Birthday where we invited some of our favourite suppliers- check out the photos on our facebook page.
Planning a wedding for a couple is such an intimate thing, as you plan this incredible day of love, emotion and celebration for the couple and their guests. I love every element of this and just want the wedding planning process to be a fun and seamless for each of my couples.
